Reclaiming Your Space

Cleaning out an entire space yourself, whether in your home, basement, or attic, is both stressful and time-consuming. At the end of it, you may be left with a cleared-out space, but you will also have a huge pile of junk and nowhere to put it. (You’ll probably have a headache, too.) The best solution is to have Boston Junk come in and do all the work for you from the very beginning. We can save you the time and energy of doing a cleanout yourself and make the process much less stressful for you and your loved ones. Boston Junk works on your schedule and timeframe. If you have any deadlines such as the sale of a home, a lease that is ending, or an estate closure, we will go forward with those in mind to make sure the job is done in time. Our friendly team is here with all the right tools to help you reclaim your space as quickly as possible. We do all the heavy lifting, so you won’t even need to lift a finger.

  • Residential spaces we cleanout:
  • Houses
  • Offices
  • Basements
  • Attics
  • Garages
  • Estates
  • Yards
  • And more (Just ask us!)

Estate cleanouts are common when a loved one passes away. Handling the process of clearing out the entire space can be stressful and burdensome when combined with the grief of the loss. Boston Junk has both the knowledge and the heart to work patiently with you while also being efficient in getting the job done. We would like to offer some tips and advice for preparing for an Estate cleanout.

  • Hold on to valuable items and memorabilia. Keep pictures, scrapbooks, family heirlooms, and anything else you can remember the person by. You will be glad you did. This does not mean you have to take their belongings into your space, but we suggest at least holding on to some things in storage.
  • Go through your items to make sure you don’t miss anything. We encourage you to open drawers, look in pockets, and don’t leave any item unturned. We understand this can be tedious, but the last thing we want is to throw out something of importance to you or your loved ones.
  • Find and store financial documents. Wills, trusts, bank statements, tax returns, and more should be located and then stored in a memorable, safe place. You never know if you’ll end up needing them down the road.

If you are not in need of an estate cleanout, but simply have a pile of junk needing to be taken away, you don’t have to worry about taking the above precautions unless you want to. We are experienced in all types of residential cleanouts and understand every situation is unique. As always, once the space has been completely cleared out, we will make sure the area is swept clean. This is part of our commitment to you to make the process simple from start to finish. We’ll take care of the heavy lifting and the detailed finishes.
